Suresh Raina Posted A Hard-Hitting Post On India’s COVID-19 Crisis : India is currently among the worst-hit countries and is currently witnessing the worst scenarios while batting the second wave of the COVID-19 pandemic. The total number of COVID-19 cases crossed the 2-crore mark on Tuesday, with over 3.57 lakh new infections. Besides this, the total number of fatalities went to 2,22,408, with 3,449 more people.

The healthcare system is crumbling due to the COVID crisis with hospitals struggling with ventilators, beds, oxygen, medications, and other essential equipment.

Saddened by the current situation, former Indian cricketer and CSK’s star player Suresh Raina took to his twitter and shared a hard-hitting tweet saying that ‘this isn’t a joke anymore’.

In his tweet, Suresh Raina saluted everyone for their fight against the deadly Coronavirus. He also expressed how the situation is now getting out of hands as we are running out of resources. He concluded his tweet with the hashtag ‘#wecandoit’. He wrote:

“This isn’t a joke anymore! So many lives at stake & never felt so helpless in life. No matter how much we want to help, but we are literally running out of resources. Every single person of this country deserves a salute right for standing by each other to save lives! #WeCandoit”,

Meanwhile, Suresh Raina is currently with the CSK squad. The 2021 edition of the Indian Premier LEague, which began on April 9, has been suspended for the time being because of the rising cases within the bio-bubble.

Chennai Super Kings also had positive cases on Monday. According to a report by ESPNCricinfo, CSK chief executive officer Kasi Viswanathan, bowling coach L Balaji and a bus cleaner have tested positive for Covid-19.
