Former Indian captain Suresh Raina, who is hailed as ‘Mr.IPL’ for his extraordinary performances in the league, is not playing in the upcoming 2022 edition of the Indian Premier League. This was the most heartbreaking news from the mega-auction as everyone expected that Raina will get picked by the Chennai Super Kings.
However, our very own ‘Chinna Thaala’ will see the next season of the IPL as a spectator. Raina’s performances were very ordinary in the previous season of the IPL as compared to the standards he has set for himself. In fact, he was replaced by Robin Uthappa in the playing XI of the previous season due to his poor performances.
