During the Chennai innings, in the death overs when Delhi Capitals was looking lethal, picking wickets at regular intervals, MS Dhoni – who didn’t have a great season with the bat this time, decided to promote himself up the order ahead of the in-form Ravindra Jadeja.

Dhoni has done it before several times, and this time too, he looked confident when he walked out to bat. He once again silenced his critics and showed how he can turn the game to his side. Dhoni played a sensational knock of 18 not out off just six balls to take CSK into the IPL 2021 final.
