Sourav Ganguly, the former Indian skipper finally took charge as the President of BCCI on Wednesday. The former Indian captain has promised a new start for the BCCI and to do what’s best for Indian cricket.
“We don’t know what’s happened in the past three years, we weren’t part of it [BCCI], there were no AGMs or working committee meetings. We’ll take note of everything and do what’s best for Indian cricket” Sourav Ganguly said.
The appointment of Sourav Ganguly as the new President of BCCI, it has come as a new ray of hope as he knows a thing or two about bailing Indian cricket from trouble. Ganguly, who is known as the godfather of the modern-day cricket, transformed the game when he was given the captaincy with his strong decisions. And now people are expecting the same transformation in the cricket board as well.

Meanwhile, cricketers and fans have been busy congratulating Ganguly for his new role. Indian cricketer Suresh Raina also joined the bandwagon. Congratulating the new President of BCCI, Suresh Raina wrote:
