Dhruv Jurel has swiftly made an impact with both his batting and wicketkeeping abilities in international cricket. Despite being a surprising addition to the India Test squad for the ongoing five-match series against England, the 22-year-old has embraced the opportunity wholeheartedly and excelled in his performances.
Dhruv Jurel got his first chance to play for the Indian team in the ongoing series. He made his Test debut in the third Test in Rajkot after KS Bharat didn’t perform well in the first two matches. Dhruv has been doing a good job so far. He scored 46 runs in the match, including two fours and three sixes, helping India reach a score of over 400 runs.
Not just with the bat, but Jurel has also impressed one and all with his wicketkeeping skills. Although he only got one dismissal in the first innings, his wicketkeeping was excellent. He made many good saves behind the stumps and looked very calm and confident.
