Suryakumar Yadav Wrote A Hilarious Comment On Rohit Sharma’s Post

Indian captain Rohit Sharma is away from all cricketing action ever since he suffered an injury on his left thumb during the 2nd ODI match against Bangladesh. KL Rahul led the Indian cricket team in his absence and led India to a thumping 2-0 victory in the Test series against Bangladesh. Rohit will return to lead the Indian squad later in January for three-match ODI series that kickstarts in Guwahati on January 10.

While he is away from all the action on-field, Rohit has been keeping his fans updated via his social media posts – from sharing personal pictures to his training session’s sneak peek. On Wednesday, Rohit Sharma took to his social media and shared a picture of himself where he was seen holding his daughter Samaira and both looking at the sky.

The post went viral in no time and was flooded with amazing reactions from the fans to it. However, the comment that stole all the attention came from Rohit’s MI and India teammate Suryakumar Yadav, who came up with an epic reply.

Surya showed his creative side as he wrote a caption that read, “Sammy say hello to Sky.”

Talking about Suryakumar Yadav, the talented batter was rewarded for his hard work in white-ball cricket as he was named India’s vice-captain for T20Is for the upcoming series against Sri Lanka. He will be assisting Hardik Pandya, who will be leading the Indian cricket team in the absence of regular skipper Rohit Sharma.

Recently, while speaking to PTI, Surya was asked about the bond he shares with Kohli and Rohit. Responding to the statement, Suryakumar called the duo a ‘different breed of international cricketers’. He said:

“I am actually very lucky that I share the dressing room with Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma. They are a different breed of international cricketers. Things they have achieved, I don’t know I will be ever able to achieve that. Recently, I have had some good partnerships with Virat bhai and I have enjoyed batting with him. Rohit is like an elder brother and my sounding board. When I am in doubt, I ask him direct questions about my game. He has been a good guiding force since I joined MI in 2018,”
