The Indian cricket team is just two steps away from lifting the prestigious ICC Men’s T20 World Cup Trophy 2022. After stamping their tickets for the semi-finals with a big win against Zimbabwe, the Indian cricket team will now take on England in the first semi-final at Adelaide.

Meanwhile, the Indian cricket team has had a very hectic schedule in the ongoing 2022 T20 World Cup. Not only have they had back-to-back matches but they have been on the road for lengthy periods due to the travel demands.

The Indian side has been forced to take multiple long-distance flights because of not having two back-to-back games at the same venue. Traveling can be hazardous to the recovery of players, however, in order to make sure that the hard-working fast-bowlers are in their best shape for the big showdown, the Indian captain and former captain made their travel easier with a beautiful gesture.

Well, as per a report in the Indian Express, the likes of Rahul Dravid, Rohit Sharma, and Virat Kohli gave up their business-class seats to the bowlers – Arshdeep Singh, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Mohammed Shami, and Hardik Pandya. The decision was taken in order to allow these bowlers extra legroom to rest properly.

“Before the tournament, we decided that since the pace bowlers clock the maximum mileage on field day in, day out, they need to stretch their legs,” a support staff member told Indian Express.

For the unversed, we should tell you that as per the norms set by the International Cricket Council (ICC) for all 16 teams; each squad is allocated four business class seats during a flight. Usually, these four seats are reserved for the captain, coach, team manager, and other senior players however the Indian team decided to give the fast-bowlers these luxury seats so that they can travel with ease and comfort.
