Undoubtedly, Indian Premier League is one of the most important source of entertainment in our country. Every year, the fans wait for the new season of IPL very anxiously. In India, the fans of cricket consider IPL as no less than any festival.
The eleventh season of Indian Premier League is just a few hours away. The level of excitement and thrill is increasing by every passing minute.
The first match of the league will be played between three time winners Mumbai Indians and Chennai Super Kings, the team that is making it’s comeback after the ban of two long years.
The fans are very excited to watch their favorite teams lock horns at the the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai but before the game, a star-studded glittering opening ceremony is scheduled to entertain the fans, in which Bollywood stars will set the stage on fire.
The stars that are going to perform tonight in the opening ceremony are Hrithik Roshan, Varun Dhawan, Jacqueline Fernandez and Tamannah Bhatia. However, Ranveer Singh was to perform on the ceremony as well, but due to his shoulder injury he will not be performing tonight.
Anyhow, Tamannah Bhatia is very excited for her performance as it will be the first time that she will be performing in any sports event. She said:
“Before this, I have never performed for a sports event and of course, when you are on a stage there is a certain feeling of nervousness and excitement. As a performer, the feeling to perform in a stadium and to feel the energy of the audience will be completely different,”
She believes that IPL is one of the best sports event. She said:
“I am excited because there is no better sports event than IPL to perform for. We are all crazy about cricket and it’s the opening night,”
When asked about her favorite team and player, Tamannah Bhatia, without any second thoughts, said:
“Chennai Super Kings (CSK) is coming back after two years, it has Dhoni and I am a huge fan, so I am looking forward to seeing them play,”
Well, who isn’t a fan of MS Dhoni? Everyone is waiting for their favorite team to rock this season of IPL.
