If BCCI allows franchises to retain 5 to 6 players, then MS Dhoni can be a part of IPL 2025. In 2018, BCCI allowed retentions of 5 players and in IPL 2022, only 4 players were allowed. However, he is not going to be the first choice retention for CSK. However, CSK will definitely retain him and will use him as the third or fourth choice retention.
