All-rounders are rare and vital commodities in limited-over cricket because they help their teams find the much needed balance in the line-up.
If you don’t have a genuine all-rounder in your XI in limited-over cricket, you are always a batsman or a bowler short.

#1 Shakib Al Hasan:
Shakib Al Hasan has been Bangladesh’s premier player with both bat and ball in the last 10 years in 50-over cricket.
While Shakib has consistently scored runs batting in the middle order at no. 4 or no. 5, he has also bowled his full quota of overs in almost every game and has been effective with the ball in all conditions.
Shakib has scored 4035 runs in the 121 ODIs that he has played for Bangladesh in the last 10 years. The southpaw has also grabbed 165 wickets at a bowling average of 29.92.
#2 Angelo Mathews:

#5 Ravindra Jadeja:
Ravindra Jadeja’s runs’ tally in ODI cricket is not as high as the above mentioned four players, but that’s because he has mostly batted at no. 7 for India and has not got a lot of time to score runs.
Jadeja has, however, still scored close to 2000 runs and maintained a batting average of over 30 with the bat since 2010. The left-hander has also got 170 wickets at a bowling average of 35.65.
