The Independence Cup will be remembered as one of the most memorable tournaments in Pakistan cricket history. Many famous international cricketers visited Pakistani for the first after the terrorist attack on Sri Lankan cricket team.

Pakistan cricket fans turned out it numbers in and outside the Gaddafi stadium and witnessed their own cricketers playing international cricket at home after a long time.

It was a great moment for the game of cricket to see Pakistani fans show their happiness and energy at the Gaddafi stadium.

Indian cricketers didn’t participate in the series because of security and political reasons but the fans in the stadium carried placards with Dhoni and Kohli’s pictures. Keeping all the difference and hatred aside, a section of Pakistan cricket fans sent a very good message across from the stadium.
