The next season of the Indian Premier League is around the corner and there’s much excitement amongst cricket fans. The IPL 2018 will see the comeback of Chennai Super Kings and Rajasthan Royals who were banned for two years owing to spot fixing charges.
Recently the IPL Governing Council announced the retention policy as per which a franchise can retain 5 players and since then there’s heavy speculation about retention of players by different teams.
DRS in IPL?

DRS has been one of the greatest achievements of innovations in cricket. It has provided a room for correction of errors committed by umpires and has made the game fairer.

BCCI has been conducting DRS specific workshops for Indian umpires which are not a part of the ICC panel. But as of now the BCCI is giving no word DRS’s inclusion in the IPL. The BCCI official said that there hasn’t been any decision taken yet on DRS in IPL.
