Former Indian cricketer Irfan Pathan is very impressed with Rajasthan Royals’ sensational bowler Chetan Sakariya, who gave an impressive performance in the first match. Irfan has given him the biggest compliment and feels that the cricketer is good enough to pick wickets in the first over itself, just like him.

It all started when Irfan Pathan took to his Twitter and posted a tweet about the ongoing match between Delhi Capitals and Rajasthan Royals. He wrote about Prithvi Shaw and Shikhar Dhawan facing left-armers and how he is already looking forward to the match. He wrote:

“Left armers vs shaw and Shikhar. I like this contest already”

A Twitter user then complimented Irfan and said that there is no one like him who can pick a wicket in the first over. Responding to this, Irfan gave the biggest compliment to Chetan Sakariya and wrote that Chetan looks good to give the wicket in the first over. He wrote:

“Chetan Sakariya looks good to do that.”

The interaction soon caught the attention of Rajasthan Royals’ official Twitter account, who came up with an amazing reply. In their reply, Rajasthan Royals wrote that how they wish Chetan was reading the comment. RR wrote:

“Why isn’t Chetan here to read this!”

Meanwhile, talking about Chetan Sakariya’s performances, in RR’s first match, the cricketer recorded the impressive figures of 3-31 in his four overs after Punjab Kings posted a big figure of 221. Sakariya was bought by a Rajasthan-based franchise for INR 1.2 crore in the IPL 2021 auctions.
