This Conversation Between Kevin Pietersen And Yuvraj Singh Is Pure Gold: Former Indian all-rounder and world cup hero Yuvraj Singh turned back the clock and made everyone nostalgic as he smashed back-to-back sixes during the league stage match of the ongoing Road Safety Series between India Legends and South Africa Legends in Raipur.
Yuvi walked out to bat at number 5 and took the fans back to the iconic moment where he smashed Stuart Broad for six back-to-back sixes in the 2007 T20 World Cup. This time, former South African all-rounder Zander de Bruyn became the victim of Yuvraj’s stunning batting skills as the latter smashed Bruyn for four back-to-back sixes in the 18th over of the innings.
Though, he started off slow however later on he upped his strike rate by clearing the fence on the second ball. The next big hit went towards the sightscreen while the third six was collected by the fans. The 4th big hit traveled straight towards the long-on.
Meanwhile, fans and the cricket fraternity went berserk on social media and flooded it with their amazing reactions to the powerful shots by Yuvi.
However, one of the best tweets came from none other than the former England cricketer Kevin Pietersen. KP took to his Twitter and applauded the performance of Yuvraj Singh and gave him the biggest compliment. He claimed that watching Yuvi smashing sixes is one of the most beautiful things in cricket. KP wrote:
“One of the most beautiful things in cricket, is watching the #PieChucker hitting sixes so easily! @YUVSTRONG12″
