This Conversation Between Rishabh Pant And Ravindra Jadeja IS Gold: It wasn’t a good day for the Indian bowlers on Sunday as England piled up 215 in the third T20I at Trent Bridge, which lived to its reputation as one of the highest scoring grounds in the world.
Having already lost the series, England came out all guns blazing and despite losing captain, and their best batsman, Jos Buttler, early in the innings, other batters played their attacking shots relentlessly.
Number 3 batsman Dawid Malan emerged as England’s top-scorer on the day, the left-hander smashing 77 runs off 39 balls, his knock including 6 fours and 5 sixes. Three of Malan’s five sixes came off Ravindra Jadeja’s bowling as the left-hander mercilessly targeted his favorable match-up.
Malan spoils Rishabh Pant and Jadeja’s plan

The third of Malan’s six to Jadeja was a brutal one as the batsman moved across his off-stump to a slower and wider of off-stump delivery and deposited it down the ground over straight into the sightscreen.
Malan quite easily spoiled the planning of wicket-keeper Rishabh Pant and Jadeja. Before the delivery, Pant had advised Jadeja to bowl slower through the air and outside the off-stump, to force Malan to fetch the ball as he will look to target the legside boundary. However, Malan smarly stepped across the sticks and launched it straight down the ground.

Funnily, Pant then pleaded Jadeja to only give a single to Malan. And although Malan tried to hit this one for a boundary too, he mistimed it for a single at long-off.
This conversation was caught on the stump mic and all the fans listened to it.
Here’s the series of events as a journalist, Sushant Mehta, described it in his tweet:
Rishabh Pant to Jadeja: ‘Halka daalna, mehnat karni padegi isko marne ke liye’
Jadeja bowls full and slow, Malan hits a huge straight six.
Rishabh Pant: ‘Isko ek de do yaar’
Jadeja gives an easy single to Malan.

Three of the five Indian bowlers – Jadeja, Avesh Khan, Umran Malik – went for over 10 runs an over as first Malan and then Livingstone followed by Brooks and Jordan powered England to 215.
