A fan’s tweet has gone insanely viral on social media, wherein, the fan had predicted the score of batting maestro Virat Kohli in his 100th Test match.
The Delhi-born cricketer, who made his debut with a match against West Indies in Jamaica in 2011, is currently playing his 100th Test match against Dimuth Karunaratne-led Sri Lanka National Cricket Team at the Punjab Cricket Association IS Bindra Stadium, Mohali, Chandigarh. It is indeed a historic day in Indian cricket.
As Virat walked out to bat today, he was expected to make it big with the bat. He looked comfortable out in middle on the special occasion of his 100th Test match. Fans were expecting him to end the long wait of his 71st century on the historic day of his career. However, Kohli was dismissed in the 3rd ball of the 44th over after scoring 45 runs off 76 balls in the first innings. His innings consisted of 5 amazing fours.
Meanwhile, in a crazy, rather in some shocking turn of events, a cricket fan on Twitter (@Quick__single) has left behind Jofra Archer with her bang-on prediction. Well, last night the fan had predicted that Kohli won’t score a century today. Of course, that’s not it, she also predicted the exact score he will get out on and also the manner in which he will lose his wicket, the bowler who will take it, and even Virat Kohli’s reaction to his dismissal. She wrote:
“Kohli Won’t score a 100 in his 100th test. Will score 45 (100) with 4 gorgeous cover drives and then Embuldeniya will knock his stumps over and he’ll pretend to be shocked ?? and will nod his head in disappointment”
