India’s fast bowler Ishant Sharma got engaged to Indian basketball star Pratima Singh on Sunday. Ishant and Pratima have represented the nation at the highest level with much success, and they have been friends for some time and formally extended their relationship to a higher level earlier today. While Ishant is one of India’s best fast bowlers in Test cricket, his fiancee Pratima, hailing from Varanasi, is one of the four Singh Sisters to have represented India at the highest level across various age levels. Ishant’s teammate and India’s swashbuckling batsman, Rohit Sharma, congratulated Ishant on his Twitter handle (@ImRo45), in the funniest manner. Ishant and Rohit are very good friends and Rohit’s tweet about Ishant’s haircut made everybody laugh. Ishant has always been fond of long hair. He once got a short haircut and it wasn’t liked by many. This is what Rohit Sharma tweeted:

Welcome to the club @ImIshant congratulations you two. Lekin aaj ke din toh baal katva leta bhai ? pic.twitter.com/yDEE4GhhBf
