This is the reason behind Gautam Gambhir and Yuvraj Singh’s dropping from Indian team

Former chief selector of India clarified that MS Dhoni had no role to play in the axing of Gautam Gambhir and Yuvraj Singh. Many Indian cricket fans believe that MS Dhoni had a role to play in dropping Gautam Gambhir and Yuvraj Singh from the ICC Cricket World Cup 2015 squad. But, in a very candid interview, Sandeep Patil finally revealed the truth.

Sandeep Patil very clearly said that Dhoni had no role to play in dropping Gambhir and Yuvraj and he also never opposed their selection. Patil also said that it was completely selectors’ call to not pick them.

“I feel disappointed when I read reports about Dhoni’s relation with Gambhir and Yuvraj. Dhoni never opposed their selection,” said Patil.

“It was completely the selectors’ decision to drop them and Dhoni did not have any say in dropping Gambhir and Yuvraj. Both the captains never opposed any player.”

Even Yuvraj Singh’s father Yograj Singh also blamed MS Dhoni for not picking his son. Yogiraj gave many insulting remarks towards Dhoni and even called him a ‘selfish’ man who would be punished for his wrongs.

With what the former chief selector has to say, it seems MS was unfairly blamed on numerous occasions.
