MS Dhoni’s biopic ‘MS Dhoni: The Untold Story’ is already a huge hit and fans are turning out in numbers to watch the untold story of they favourite captain. ‘MS Dhoni: The Untold Story’ released on September 30 and has been heading towards the 100-crore mark at the domestic box office after a run of just five days.

MS Dhoni’s biopic is a very well narrated story that gives insight into his life and how he came from a very humble background and became one of the biggest superstars in India. Interestingly, MS Dhoni’s elder brother, Narendra Kumar, who is a politician, didn’t even a get single mention in the movie. Narendra is a local politician currently associated with the Samajwadi party and was earlier a part of BJP. He is 10 years older to MS Dhoni.

“It must have been the filmmaker’s choice. What can I say?”, said Narendra in an interview with The Telegraph. “I may be non-existent in the movie because I don’t have much contribution in Mahi’s life – be it during his childhood, his struggle as a young man or after he became MSD for the world. The film is about Mahi, not his family,” he further added.

Narendra however, threw light on the time when he went to watch Dhoni’s first match.

“I did when I used to be home during vacation. I remember I was present when he debuted in Ranchi district senior tournament where he hit five fours in one over. He played beautifully than at Mecon grounds. Even after that, I saw him play on a few occasions at local meets whenever I came home,” the report quoted him as saying. Narendra also said that Mahi would not be able to recall the time he spent with his elder brother as he was a child then. Talking about the relationship between two brothers, he says it is “a good one, like brothers. We all are proud of him today.”
