? ???? ?? ???????? for Virat Kohli! Former India captain and batting maestro Virat Kohli, who is playing his 100th Test match, received a ‘Guard of Honour’ from his Indian teammates on Day 2 of India vs Sri Lanka first Test at the IS Bindra Stadium in Mohali on Saturday. It was a beautiful gesture from the Rohit Sharma-led Indian cricket team to celebrate the special occasion of Kohli’s career.

The incident took place just before the start of the third session on Day 2 of the ongoing game. The Indian players lined up and clapped as Virat stepped onto the field.

Virat stepped onto the field, waved with his right hand, and made his way into the middle with a big smile on his face. The happiness on Virat Kohli’s face said it all. The video of the heart-touching gesture was shared by the official Twitter account of the BCCI.

Kohli was left surprised and didn’t expect the same as he had already stepped onto the field before his teammates. This led to skipper Rohit Sharma sending him back and asking him to enter the field again so that he can be given the Guard of Honour.
