Last night, Chennai Super Kings made it to the finals after they won the match beating Sunrisers Hyderabad by 2 wickets. The match turned out to be the most exciting and nail-biting match of the season 11. However, the face of the match was turned in the last two overs, and the almost winners of the match, Sunrisers Hyderabad ended up on loosing side.
Last night, the match was completely dedicated to the bowlers of both the teams, as the batsmen of both the team couldn’t perform much in the match. In the first innings, it were the bowlers of Chennai Super Kings who didn’t spare any free runs to the batsmen of the Sunrisers and limited them to a total of 139. In the second innings, it were the bowlers of Sunrisers, who bundled up all the top batsmen of the Super Kings.

In the first innings, Kane Williamson looked in a great form but was not able to stay for a long time on the ground. He went back to pavilion after scoring 24 runs off 15 balls, after he was caught-out by MS Dhoni. Yusuf Pathan too looked in great form but he was also caught-out by DJ Bravo.
Carlos Brathwaite gave a stunning performance and scored 43 off the 29 balls. He stretched the total scores to 139.

In the second innings, the Super Kings were successful in chasing down the runs. However, all the players were bundled up. However, Faf du Plessis was like a blessing in disguise for CSK. He stayed unbeaten till the last bowl and gave a brilliant performance. He scored 67 runs in 42 balls.

Apart from him, it was Shardul Thakur who stunned everyone with his thrilling performance and shut the mouth of all the trollers will his bat. He scored quick 15 runs in 5 balls, smashing 3 fours. Both of them took away the match with a storm and made the team reach the finals.

A small mistake from Kane Williamson costed them a match. Kane Williamson, instead of giving the 19th over to an experienced bowler like Bhuvneshwar Kumar gave it to Sidharth Kaul. The tables were turned upside down in the last two overs delivered by Sidharth Kaul.
