The Tamil Nadu Premier League (TNPL) is in full swing and the local talents are leaving no stone unturned to flaunt their skills on the field. Over these years, many talented cricketers have come into limelight because of TNPL.

This time a cricketer named G Periyaswamy has been making a lot of headlines for his slingy actions which are quite similar to Lasith Malinga.

He recently made his debut in the season opener for the Chepauk Super Gillies against the Dindigul Dragons. He has been giving amazing performances playing for his team.

The 25-year-old cricketer comes running fast and with a slingy action delivers the ball from close to the umpire, making it tough for the batsmen to decide his variations. He has been giving a tough time to the batsmen this season.

However, G Periyaswamy lacks vision in one eye, but this hasn’t stopped him from following his passion and that too, this wonderfully. He has been living up to the expectations of his team and fans. So far, Periyaswamy has picked five wickets and twice in three matches, conceding less than six runs an over in his spell.

A few videos of him castling the batsmen with his space and slingy actions has gone viral on social media and is making everyone’s jaw drop.
