Although Virat Kohli’s bat hasn’t been making the right noises in recent times, he remains a fan favorite and is cheered across the crowd with every move he makes on the field. Moves Virat Kohli made while fielding in the second T20I versus England on Saturday at Edgbaston to the delight of the fans present at the stadium.
While the Indian bowlers had a tight grip on the English batting line-up, Kohli, fielding at the boundary line, was seen shaking his body to the famous ‘Bhangra’ dance to entertain the fans who bellowed to the tunes.
His dance moves were met with loud cheers across the stadium and the video of the same has gone viral.

Virat Kohli scores just 1 runs in Edgbaston

With the bat, though, Virat Kohli would want to perform better in the third T20I on Sunday in Nottingham.
Kohli, who had managed scores of 11 and 20 in the Edgbaston Test earlier this month and was rested from the first T20I in Southampton, replaced the in-form Deepak Hooda in the eleven for the second T20I. However, he couldn’t make this opportunity count with just a single run and gifted his wicket to debutant seamer Richard Gleeson.
The walls on Virat Kohli’s place in the Indian T20I eleven keeps closing in; Kohli had replaced Hooda today, the man who smashed 33 runs in 17 balls in the first T20I and before that had notched up a century vs Ireland.

India had been given a brisk start by Rohit Sharma and Rishabh Pant; the pair were rumbling at above 10 runs an over before Sharma got out to Gleeson, who then hurried Kohli for pace on his first ball, hitting the batter’s thigh pad.
Kohli got off the mark on the last ball of next over, off Moeen Ali, with a single. Gleeson came in charging for the first ball of his second over, hit length with a pacy delivery outside the off-stump. Kohli went after it looking for a big hit on the legside and top-edged it behind backward point where Dawid Malan ran behind and took a terrific diving catch.
India, though, weren’t hurt by Kohli’s cheap score as they registered an emphatic win by 49 runs to take an unassailable 2-0 with one match to go.
