When we talk about innovative batsmen, the first name that comes to our mind is AB de Villiers. AB de Villiers, who is also known as ‘Mr. 360’ for his wide variety of shots, is an absolute “freak” when it comes to improvising with the bat and he can play some of the most outrageous shots. But, one batsman who goes a little unnoticed in this debate is New Zealand’s Brendon McCullum. The video shared below shows that Brendon McCullum is no less than AB de Villiers when it comes to playing scoops, reverse-scoops and other crazy shots. In this video, McCullum is down on his knees and scooping Shaun Tait for massive sixes over the wicketkeeper’s head. In the words of Richie Benaud, ‘This is shimply shuperb’.
