As Royal Challengers Bangalore walked into the IPL 2021 with a deep purse that boasted of a staggering Rs 35.4 crores, they ensured the fact they are going all guns blazing for the big names of the tournament.

However, the two most expensive buys of the ongoing auction came from them as they bagged Glenn Maxwell for a staggering Rs 14.25 crores and Kyle Jamieson for a whopping Rs 15 crores.

Jamieson has been creating quite a few ripples around the cricketing roster with his all-around performances while Maxwell impressed recently in the series against India and the recently-concluded BBL.

After these couple of expensive buys, the fans were interested to know what were the three most expensive purchases RCB has ever brought to the table. We will quickly look at the list of the top three.

In the year 2014, Yuvi was brought by RCB for a staggering Rs 14 crores to the response of which he managed to post 376 runs at a blazing strike rate of 135.25. He also chronicled a best of 83 in that season. From the bowling front, he was okayish as his 22.4 overs got him 5 wickets.

The two other names that are on the list are still to perform in the upcoming edition of IPL. Though Maxwell will have a lot of eyes on him given his woeful preceding season, Jamieson will be new to the Indian extravaganza and will be a delight for the eyes.
