Jacques Kallis last year at the age of 39 played an absolutely amazing innings of 97 notout against the Brisbane Heat which included 7 fours and 6 sixes at a strike rate of 176.

At number nine in this list is the west Australian batsman Luke Pomerbach who smashed an innings of 112 runs of just 70 balls in the third edition of the big bash league against the Melbourne Renegades. At a strike rate of 160 the left hander struck 15 fours and 2 sixes.

Tim Ludeman last year against Melbourne Stars played an innings to remember,the 28 year old hammered 9 fours and 5 sixes to play his best ever t-20 inning of 92 runs, his innings came of just 44 bowls at a strike rate well over 200.

6) Aaron Finch- 111(65 balls)

In the very second season of the big bash league, Aaron Finch played a fantastic knock of 111 which came of just 65 balls,Hitting 12 fours and 4 sixes the right hander recorded the highest ever Individual score(at that time).

Chris Gayle effortlessly crunched a record breaking century in first season of the Big Bash Leauge to lift Sydney Thunder against the Adelaide strikers, his innings of 100 included a barrage of 11 sixes the most in a t-20 innings in big bash league.Gayle was never flustered and could never be accused of bashing, instead his inning was all about timing and panache as he sweetly sent the ball deep into the stands.

4) David Warner- 102(51 balls)

At number five in this list is undoubtedly the best opening batsman in Australia currently, David Warner who scored an astonishing century in the very first season of the Big Bash Leauge for the Sydney Sixers against the Melbourne Stars. His innings of 102 included 6 fours and 6 sixes.

3) Craig Simmons- 112(58 balls)

Perth opener Craig Simmons awoke from his slumber to score an extraordinary century and put the Sydney Sixers squarely under the pump in the Big Bash League semi-final at the SCG last year.
Simmons (112 off 58 balls) was bogged down with just five runs from his first 15 balls faced, but eventually clicked into explosive overdrive, smashing 11 sixes to help his team Perth reach to an imposing total of 193.

2) Luke Wright 117 (60 balls)

At number two is the Melbourne Stars opener Luke Wright who blasted the highest ever score in Australian domestic Twenty20 cricket as his side downed the Hobart Hurricanes.
Wright made 117 off just 60 balls, smashing nine sixes and eight fours to eclipse the previous best of 111 set by Michael Dighton in 2007 as the Stars won by 19 runs.
The Englishman dispatched Hurricanes bowler Rhett Lockyear for three successive sixes in the 12th over before reaching his century off just 44 balls with another six off Xavier Doherty.
With fellow opener Rob Quiney (62 off 50), Wright shared a highest-ever domestic T20 partnership of 172.

The Scorchers batsman Phil Simmons finds his name again in this list as he played an amazing knock in his home ground at the WACA in Perth,Simmons (102) layed the platform for a massive innings which concluded at 203-7.
Phil Simmons during his 102 also made an excellent partnership with Sam Whiteman which helped his team post a big total.
Not only did he pass a ton but he also surpassed Luke Wright’s Big Bash fasted century record by five balls at 39 deliveries.
Simmons, who hit eight fours and eight sixes, was eventually dismissed on 102 caught by Alex Hales off the bowling of Jon Holland.
