Running between the wickets is the key to win matches. A batsman is as successful as his running between the wickets. This is where Virat Kohli and MS Dhoni have become amply successful, their running between the wickets adds plenty of valuable runs to the team. Fitness has become a prerequisite and a batsman’s fitness is proved by his running between the wickets.

But not all the batsman have been the best of runners between the wickets. Although it’s a weird record but getting run outs for the most number of times in ODIs is a record too. This is a very embarrassing record to hold though but it exists nevertheless. The cricketer who has been run out most number of times is Pakistan’s legendary pacer Wasim Akram.

Second on the list too is a Pakistani. Second on the list is former Pakistan Skipper, Inzamam-Ul-Haq. Wasim Akram has been run out 38 times in 280 matches and Inzamam-Ul-Haq has been run out 38 times too but in 322 matches. Azharuddin and Rahul Dravid are the two Indians to feature in this embarrassing list.

These are records these batsmen would surely want to ignore. This isn’t the kind of list any batsmen would want to feature on.
