The advent of T20 cricket has changed the cricketing landscape big time. T20s have brought in an enthralling sense of entertainment for cricket fans and they’re just in love with the shortest format of the game. T20 is all about batsman’s show and for bowlers you can’t really feel anything besides pity.

The greatest batsmen in the modern day cricket have offered a lot of entertainment to the cricket fans. T20s are crazy run feasts as runs are scored in plenty in this shortest format of the game.

Here’s the list of leading run getters in the shortest format of the game. On top of the list is the explosive former Kiwis batsman Brendon McCullum with 2140 runs from 71 matches. Next on the list is the Indian captain Virat Kohli who has 1956 runs from 55 matches.

Virat Kohli has a staggering average of 52.86 which is the highest average by any batsman in the shortest format. However Virat Kohli is yet to score a ton in T20s international.
