10 Hilarious Memes On Rishabh Pant’s Irresponsible Dismissal

Indian wicket-keeper batter, Rishabh Pant had a forgettable experience with the bat on Wednesday after he was dismissed for an embarrassing 3-ball duck by the lethal Proteas bowler Kagiso Rabada in the ongoing second Test match against South Africa in Johannesburg.

However, before his disappointing dismissal took place, there was an incident that stole quite a limelight. As Rishabh Pant walked out to bat, he was welcomed with the sledges from Rassie van der Dussen and the young batter didn’t hold back in giving it back to the Proteas player. Rishabh Pant asked Rassie va der Dussen, who was standing at short leg, to keep his mouth shut before he got out on the third delivery only.

In the very next delivery, Rishabh Pant tried to smash Kagiso Rabada out of the Wanderers however could only manage a thin edge that was gobbled up by Kyle Verreyne. As expected, Rishabh Pant was extremely displeased with his dismissal and whacked his bat on the wall on the way back to the pavilion.

Coming into the game, a lot was expected from Rishabh Pant, however, the keeper-batsman has failed to leave a mark with his bat yet again as he just threw away his wicket out of aggression to bring South Africa right back into the match.

While he has been struggling with the bat, he was exceptional with behind-the-stumps today. In fact, he even added another feather to his hat as he became the fourth Indian keeper to take 100 catches as a wicketkeeper in the longest format of the game.

Recently, he became the fastest wicketkeeper to pick 100 dismissals in Test cricket, surpassing the record of MS Dhoni.
