Notably, the SA20 commentary team has reunited some legendary players like de Villiers, Mark Boucher, Ashwell Prince, Shaun Pollock, Herschelle Gibbs, Chris Morris, and Vernon Philander.

Besides them, former England players Kevin Pietersen and Darren Gough will also join the commentary team. Kevin Pietersen is also looking forward to returning home for the inaugural competition. KP said:

“I’m excited to be part of the SuperSport team for the SA20 league. Especially as Someone who was born in KZN and also someone who has played cricket in Durban in my early part of my career. Meanwhile, the upcoming edition of the SA20 will be in a direct clash with UAE’s ILT20, which is also scheduled to begin from January next year. Both leagues will be taking place in the same time when Australia's  Big Bash League (BBL) will be on.
