MS Dhoni

Bollywood actor and cricket fanatic Aftab Shivdasani, just like the rest of the cricket fans, missed the presence of former Indian captain MS Dhoni during India’s recently concluded tour to South Africa. The Men in Blue suffered a 0-3 ODI series defeat to South Africa as it exposed flaws in the visitors’ limited-overs template.

Though the Indian cricket team headed to Proteas as the favorites to win the Test and ODI series but the tour turned out to be an absolute disaster. Team India started the tour with a bang, winning the first Test match in Centurion with a huge margin, however, that was their sole victory in the tour as they ended up losing 5 back-to-back games.

While the top-order gave the Indian side decent starts more often than not, it was the middle-order that flattered to deceive. There were many who felt that India lacked finishing skills as none of the batters could get going and take the side home.
