An Old Tweet Shows That PM Modi Sees A Friend In Mohammed Shami

An old tweet of PM Modi has resurfaced on social media and has been going insanely viral after India’s sensational bowler Mohammad Shami was viciously attacked on social media by faceless trolls. Following a humiliating defeat by Pakistan, Mohammad Shami was viciously attacked on social media.

Mohammed Shami, who turned out to be the most expensive bowler of the lot, giving away 43 runs in his 3.5 overs at an economy rate of above 11, has been subjected to terrible abuse on social media. From threats to abuses, hate-mongers on social media left no stone unturned to slam Mohammad Shami.

But soon several prominent personalities from the country came out in support of Shami. From Sachin Tendulkar, Virender Sehwag, Irfan Pathan, VVS Laxman, to Yuzvendra Chahal, the Indian cricket fraternity extended their support to Shami.

Meanwhile, an old Tweet of PM Narendra Modi about Mohammad Shami has been going viral. The tweet has resurfaced on social media after a popular Twitter user and cricket enthusiast Madhav Sharma shared a screenshot of the old Tweet and slammed the faceless trolls.

In his Tweet, Madhav Sharma gave a fitting reply to trolls who were attacking PM Modi and his supporters by sharing a screenshot of an old Tweet of PM Narendra Modi, in which PM Modi has called Mohammad Shami his “talented friend”. Sharing the screenshot, Madhav wrote:

“In 2015, Prime Minister Shri @narendramodi called Mohammed Shami his “talented friend”. All those who are attacking @BJP4India and its supporters must understand that it’s a dirty and dangerous plan of Congress and Left, backed by Pakistan, to trigger communal hatred in India.”
