Anushka Sharma's Post For Virat Kohli Has Gone Viral

Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma must be one proud wife today as her darling husband Virat Kohli played another sensational knock for team India. Virat  registered his 45th ODI century in the first ODI against Sri Lanka at the Barsapara Cricket Stadium in Guwahati.

Virat walked out to bat at no. 3 when Shubman Gill was dismissed after a terrific century opening partnership with captain Rohit Sharma. However, Kohli continued with the momentum and smashed the Sri Lankan bowlers all over the park as he reached the triple-figure mark once again in the ODIs. He played a stunning knock of 113 runs off 87 runs. His stunning knock was laced with 12 boundaries and a solitary six.

This is Virat Kohli's 9th hundred in ODIs vs Sri Lanka. With his stunning knock, Kohli also equaled Sachin Tendulkar’s record of most ODI hundreds at home. Now both Sachin and Kohli have 20 hundred apiece. But interestingly, while Kohli amassed the tally in 160 innings, Kohli has managed the same in 100 innings only. Second on the list is former Australian skipper Ricky Ponting, who scored 13 hundred from 153 matches.

Meanwhile, Kohli has been receiving praise from all corners for his terrific performance. Anushka Sharma, who never leaves an opportunity to celebrate the success of her husband, also took to her social media and came up with a special post for her darling husband. Anushka shared a picture of a television with a heart emoji to celebrate the 45th hundred ODI century of her husband.

After his innings, Virat Kohli talked about his performance and said: "I have had a bit of break, and a couple of practice sessions coming into this game, so I was fresh after that Bangladesh tour. I was excited for the home season to start. The openers allowed me to get into the game and I tried to keep my strike rate in check. I was happy I was able to maintain the tempo and we finished with 370".
