ENG vs PAK Final: Here's Why England Cricket Team Is Wearing Black Armbands

England and Pakistan are currently locking horns in the ongoing final of the 2022 T20 World Cup at the iconic Melbourne Cricket Ground. The final showdown is taking place in front of a packed crowd. As the game kickstarted, the Jos Buttler side won the toss and opted to bowl first in the very important showdown. Both sides are unchanged for the mega-final.

As the players walked out on the ground, the England players were seen wearing black armbands in the fixture to pay respect to David English. For the unversed, David English is considered the Godfather of English Cricket. He passed away on Saturday (November 12) aged 76.
