While the Indian bowlers kept everyone on the edge of their seats as they went all over the Proteas batsmen, however, an unfortunate incident involving Jasprit Bumrah left everyone shocked.

Earlier, Bumrah had given team India an ideal start before the lunch break. He gave the much-needed breakthrough to the Indian cricket team by dismissing Proteas skipper Dean Elgar in the very first over of the innings.
After the lunch, Mohammed Shami got the ball moving as he skittled out the set betters Keegan Peterson and Aiden Markram and disturbed the stumps of the duo. Siraj also contributed by picking the wicket of Rassie van der Dussen. At the end of Day 3, India is leading by 146 runs in the second innings with 9 wickets in hand.
