Here’s Why Fans Are Saluting Baroda Cricketer Vishnu Solanki: The world of cricket has seen many heroes, however, the toughest ones are those who played through the pain of mental anguish, having lost their loved ones. Batting superstar Virat Kohli walked out to bat for his side in a Ranji Trophy game, hours after his father’s demise and went on to play an innings of his life of 90 runs.

That time it was Virat Kohli, who showed immense determination and spirit, and this time it is Vishnu Solanki, who has shown the same passion for the game.

Baroda cricketer Vishnu Solanki and his wife recently became parents, but unfortunately, they lost their newborn daughter a few days back. Solanki attended the funeral and got back to represent his team in the ongoing Ranji Trophy. The cricketer also went on to score a terrific hundred for his side in a match against Chandigarh on Thursday.

Meanwhile, Saurashtra player Sheldon Jackson took to Twitter and shared a heartfelt note for Vishnu. In his Tweet, he hailed the Baroda cricketer as the toughest player he has known and also wished him a lot of success ahead. He wrote:
