Earlier, during India's innings, KL Rahul, who was going through a rough form, made a stunning return to form, scoring 50 runs off 32 balls. Until this game against Bangladesh, Rahul hadn't done much with the bat, registering only single-digit scores in the first three games of India. However, he made a solid comeback to shut the mouth of his critics. Though, he started off slow but as he got into his strides, he started smashing the Bangladesh bowlers to all the corners of the ground.

KL Rahul registered his 22nd T20 international fifty off only 31 balls to get his side off to a flyer after the early dismissal of captain Rohit Sharma against Bangladesh. After Rohit's dismissal, KL Rahul shifted the gears at the right time as he formed a brilliant partnership with Virat Kohli. KL Rahul scored his 50 off 32 balls. His knock included three boundaries and four maximums.
