Kumar Dharmasena Picked Only One Indian In His All-Time XI

Picking all-time XI has become a trend now. Several former cricketers and experts have often been seen picking their all-time XI squad so that the fans know their choices. Today, we will tell you about the all-time XI of Kumar Dharmasena.

The cricketer-turned umpire, Kumar Dharmasena, has seen a lot of cricketing stalwarts very closely over the years. Kumar Dharamsena seems to have picked a well-balanced XI, consisting of legendary names in his all-time XI.

For the opening position, Kumar Dharmsena picked two left-handed batsmen to open the innings. He picked Australia’s swashbuckling opener, Mathew Hayden alongside Sri Lankan legend Sanath Jayasuriya. They were followed by Australia’s great Ricky Ponting at number 3. He showered some high praises on the Australian great, who was also given the captaincy duties of the all-time XI by Kumar Dharmsena.

For the number 4 position, Kumar picked India’s batting legend Sachin Tendulkar, who was followed by the Windies’ great Brian Lara to accompany Sachin Tendulkar in the middle-order batting lineup.

Kumar Sangakkara was picked at number 6 given the wicketkeeping duties of the team. For the all-rounder position in his team, Dharmasena picked legendary Jacques Kallis. Coming to the spinner’s section, he picked the two greats of the game, Shane Warne and Muttiah Muralitharan in his all-time XI. The bowling unit also had Pakistan’s swing master Wasim Akram alongside Australia’s Glenn McGrath.
