Former Pakistani bowler Shoaib Akhtar has stirred a fresh controversy with his latest Tweet regarding the outbreak of COVID-19. The pandemic of COVID-19 has left the whole world in a state of fear and panic. The disease that was originated in Wuhan, China in December 2019 has so far infected 1,66,000 people globally, while the number has reached 110 patients in India.
As the numbers are increasing with every passing day, the World Health Organization (WHO) has given a health advisory to ignore crowded places and because of the same, it has become a more curfew-like situation in the country with schools and colleges being shut down. People are avoiding crowded places in order to prevent themselves from the Coronavirus.
Shoaib Akhtar, who is very active on social media, took to his Twitter in order to express concern about the “pandemic”, however, he stirred controversy by taking a sly dig at Kashmir. Shoaib Akhtar, a successful YouTube channel these days is often seen expressing his views on various cricketing topics, took a dig at the lockdown in Kashmir due to the current political situation. He shared an image via his official Twitter handle that read:

Well, the Tweet didn’t go down well with the Indians, who are now slamming the cricketer left, right and center for his remarks. Shoaib Akhtar’s attempt to taunt the Kashmir situation failed miserably as Twitterati are leaving no stone unturned to troll the cricketer. From Twitterati are finding faults in his country, sharing screenshots of not following Akhtar to unsubscribing to his YouTube channel.
Here, check out the reactions of Twitterati on this:
World knows, In both the cases, It's world which is much safer place to live.
