Bollywood singer Kanika Kapoor became the first victim of Coronavirus from the movie industry. The singer was first tested Coronavirus positive on March 20 and since then she has been hospitalized. She had announced the news of her being tested positive on Instagram via a long post, which has now been deleted.
Kanika Kapoor faced a lot of criticism after she was tested positive for Coronavirus, for allegedly hiding her travel history and going on to attend parties and events with hundreds of people and risking them exposure to the Coronavirus. However, there have not been any other Coronavirus positive cases detected by people who were in contact with the singer.
On Saturday, Kanika Kapoor was tested negative for COVID-19 after her sixth examination. Yes, the singer is now finally out of the danger but will remain hospitalized until one more result comes negative.
