It has to be noted that Stubbs has already been identified by the Indian Premier League franchise Mumbai Indians. Recently, he played a sensational knock of 72 runs that came off just 28 balls in the 2nd T20I match. His sensational knock was laced with 8 sixes and 2 fours. However, all his efforts went in vain as South Africa fell short of 41 runs to chase the target.
Talking about the 3rd T20I, Riding on the stellar knocks of Reeza Hendricks (70) and Aiden Markram (51*), the South African team posted a strong score of 191/5 in 20 overs. The Proteas spinner Tabraiz Shamsi took five wickets to help his team bowl out England for 101 to win the series decider by 90 runs at the Ageas Bowl on Sunday and end the series with 2-1.
The visitors then managed to bowl England out on 101 runs. England cricket team quickly fell behind the required run rate as none of their batters managed to show any of the power hitting from earlier in the T20I series between the two countries, struggling to deal with the variety of bowling options South Africa subjected them to. Jonny Bairstow was Englandโs top scorer with 27 runs after coming in at number four.
