After giving a thumping defeat to Proteas at their own home, India has started the T20 series on a winning note too. The first T20 only came as an insult to the injuries of the hosts. Riding on a brilliant knock by in form Shikhar Dhawan. Shikhar Dhawan scored 72 from just 39 balls and that’s what took India to a handsome score of 203.

Besides Shikhar Dhawan no one could score big. After Dhawan it was Manish Pandey who top scored with an unbeaten knock of 29. Suresh Raina who made a comeback to the side after long time but he could only manage to score 15. The Indian Skipper, Virat Kohli scored 26 from 20 balls.
