Twitter Celebrates The Victory Of Delhi Daredevils After The Last Ball Thriller

The match that was held tonight at the Feroz Shah Kotla Stadium, New Delhi was won by Delhi Daredevils who won after a brilliant display of talent and skills from the young lads of the teams. The team earned a royal victory after defeating Rajasthan Royals by 4 runs.

As the match was about to start, Delhi Daredevils was asked to bat first as the toss was won by Ajinkya Rahane, the skipper of Rajasthan Royals who chose to bowl first.
The players of Delhi Daredevils played a sensational innings tonight. The young lads of the team, Prithvi Shaw, Rishabh Pant and Shreyas Iyer stunned everyone with their brilliant performances tonight. These three players took the match with the storm.What a brilliant performance by these young lads.

Prithvi Shaw, gave a sensational performance with the strike rate of 188, he scored 47 runs off 25 balls, smashing 4 fours and 6 sixes. Shreyas Iyer, the new captain of Delhi Daredevils scored half century off 35 balls. He smashed 3 fours and 3 sixes and Rishabh Pant scored 69 runs in 29 balls, hitting 7 fours and 5 sixes.

The young talented lads of Delhi Daredevils stretched the scores to 196 runs (in 17.1 overs). However, because of the rains the target for the opposite team was brought down to 151 runs (according to D/L method).

The efforts to chase the target runs were made wonderfully by Rajasthan Royals however, they fell short of 4 runs.

However, the players off Rajasthan Royals started off with a bang. The openers Joss Buttler scored 67 runs off 27 balls, including 4 fours and 7 sixes, while, D’Arcy Short scored 44 runs in 25 balls, hitting 2 four and 4 sixes.

The wickets of Sanju Samson, Ben Stokes, and Rahul Tripathi fell very quickly one after other, leaving the team on defeating side.
