After yet another batting failure, the Indian pacers have brought back India into the game. South Africa has been cleaned up for just 194 after the Indian pacers gave a clinical performance. The hosts only have a lead of 7 runs to play with. India now has a very fair chance to maintain its record of never losing a test match at Johannesburg.

Jasprit Bumrah has been on a roll since his debut at Cape Town. The blower picked up 5 wickets today and was all over the South African batting line up. From giving early jitters to the Proteas right at the start of the day to cleaning up the tail, Jasprit Bumrah was phenomenal with the ball.

Bhuvneshwar Kumar after picking up Ed Markram toward the end of day two came back even stronger today. He dislodged AB De Villiers’ stumps with a beautiful inswinging delivery and AB De Villiers played all over it. Mohammad Shami and Ishant Sharma picked up one wicket each to wrap the South African batting line up.
The South African batting line-up failed miserably to take the brunt of the Indian bowlers and only Hashim Amla could get a half-century. Hashim Amla top-scored for the Proteas with a crucial knock of 61.
Now the two sides have equaled each other in the first innings and now it’s the performance in the second innings which will determine the result of the match.
