Sunrisers Hyderabad hasn’t got the desired start in IPL 2021 as they have lost both their opening encounters. After Kolkata Knight Riders posted a brilliant batting display to leave them short by 10 runs, Bangalore pulled off some crazy bowling stunts to deny them a victory either. The common factor that has been pointed out by the fans in both of these losses is the omission of Kane Williamson.
In the midst of a batting landslide in the middle-order that is plagued by failures from big-hitters and regular batsmen alike, fans have already been vocal about the fact that why exactly isn’t the New Zealand skipper, Kane Williamson not being a part of this squad.
We are all aware of the fact that how imperative, Williamson can be in the batting ranks of any teams that he is a part of. However, the Sunrisers management has to say otherwise who is still waiting for an impending miracle from their hard-hitting English batsman, Jos Buttler.
In fact, the fans were also inquisitive about the fact that why exactly isn’t a successful Natarajan not in the team either that has seen the other bowlers apart from Bhuvi and Rashid Khan been shred apart.
Sunrisers haven’t had a great start against Mumbai either which has seen them being hammered early into the innings with a brilliant knock from Rohit Sharma and Quinton De Kock early in the innings. Despite the departure of Sharma, De Kock is still continuing with his hard-hitting prowess and will continue to torment the Hyderabad bowlers unless they are able to summon more vim and vigour in an otherwise single-dimensional bowling attack.
Twitteratti has been exceptionally vocal about Kane not being fielded on repeated occasions as they believe that if there is someone who can mend this batting order and avert a landslide, it is Kane Williamson. Also to keep in mind, once, Warner, Buttler and Manish Pandey depart, the remaining batting line-up will crumble like a house of cards given their lack of experience.
