The third test did not go any different for team India as the batting woes continued and India looks in a spot of bother right at the start of the test match. Winning the toss the Indian captain, Virat Kohli decided to bat first only to see the team get all out for 187.

The openers continued the poor show and so did the lower middle order. Virat Kohli top scored for India with a knock of 54 while Cheteshwar Pujara scored a 50 too. Towards the end of the Indian innings, Bhuvneshwar Kumar played a very useful and handy cameo of 30 very valuable runs.

BHUVNESHWAR KUMAR THE BRAVE WARRIOR

While no other batsman besides Kohli and Pujara could cross the 20s, it was Bhuvneshwar Kumar who put up a fight against the lethal pace attack of the Proteas and scored 30 runs amid very tough conditions. Bhuvneshwar Kumar made his way back to the playing XI at the expense of Ravichandran Ashwin.

TWITTER HAILS BHUVNESHWAR

Twitter seems to be a great fan of Bhuvi. It was Twitter which slammed Virat Kohli ruthlessly for having dropped Bhuvi from the playing XI in the second test, Twitter erupted with a profuse appreciation for Bhuvneshwar Kumar as he scored 30 runs and also took a wicket towards the end of the first day. If it wasn’t for Bhuvi’s knock of 30 then India may have been reduced to well short of 150.

Everyone is in awe of Bhuvneshwar’s batting skills and his all-rounder capabilities and some believe that he should rather play ahead of Hardik Pandya. South Africa was 6 for 1 at stumps as Bhuvneshwar Kumar sent back Markram to the hut. Now India’s chances in this match rest on the shoulders of India’s pace attack. Batters have not been able to maintain any control over the game just like the first two matches.

HERE IS HOW TWITTER ERUPTED TO HAIL BHUVNESHWAR KUMAR

Abstinence lent strength to India. Without Pujara’s 50 and his numbing of the bowling, India would have been looking at a more meagre total

BHUVNESHWAR KUMAR SHOULD PLAY EVERY TEST MATCH. Regardless of the damn pitch. Period. #SAvInd

Give me even one reason why girls shouldn’t make babies with Bhuvneshwar Kumar?

— EngiNerd. (@mainbhiengineer) January 24, 2018

Bhuvi @BhuviOfficial is such an honest trier. No fan fare. No tattoos

— Vikrant Gupta (@vikrantgupta73) January 24, 2018

Bhuvneshwar Kumar is the all-rounder India think Hardik Pandya is. #SAvIND

Bhuvneshwar Kumar gets game and gets a wicket in his second over…

— Broken Cricket (@BrokenCricket) January 24, 2018

Bhuvneshwar Kumar’s batting average in #SAvIND series is 34.00. Only Virat Kohli averages more (49.00) for India.
May be Virat could have played him as a specialist batsman at Centurion if not as a bowler.#INDvSA

For the record @BhuviOfficial has shown grit in every innings. For Hardik and Parthiv and lot to learn. Put a price on your wicket as said!!
