As action moved to Johannesburg, India’s dominance continued. India after losing Rohit Sharma early yet again was anchored by Kohli and Dhawan. This partnership has been so crucial for India in all the ODIs so far.

Virat Kohli unfortunately missed out on his 35th ODI ton as he got out after playing a brilliant innings of 75. But it was Shikhar Dhawan who joined the party today and he smashed a handsome ton.

There was a very crucial partnership of 158 between Kohli and Dhawan which ensured India stayed in a good position. Shikhar Dhawan, the stunning left handed opener has shown great form in this ODI series. After two handsome half centuries in the series he scored a blistering century of just 99 balls.
On the other hand Rohit Sharma’s form has been an issue for India. After scores of 20,15 and 0 he again fell cheaply. Rohit Sharma now averages 11 in this series which is the worst by an Indian batsman abroad.

Rohit Sharma has been under scrutiny for his poor run. He got just 20 in the first game and that was followed by a low score of 15. Then at Cape Town which actually was a paradise for batsmen, Rohit Sharma got dismissed for a duck.

While Dhawan and Kohli got to good starts yet again, Rohit fell cheaply to Rabada. Rohit got caught and bowled by Kagiso Rabada and Twitter is going infuriated at Rohit Sharma.
Twitter lauds Dhawan

Impressed with Dhawan’s tenacity, has been in and out of the Test side but hasn’t let it impact his flow in ODIs. Match winner on his day and Rohit’s too. #SAvInd
