Twitter Reaction After The Announcement Of The XI For The Third Test

The third Test will begin from 7 January in Sydney. India won the second game at Melbourne by 8 wickets. The series is currently levelled with 1-1 and both teams will lock horns in the third Test.

India have announced their XI for the match, while Australia are yet to give out their XI. There have been injuries to several players, which have affected the Indian Team in recent times. Despite battling from injuries, the Indian side have managed to give a good fight to the Aussies.

Rohit Sharma And Navdeep Saini Included:

Rohit Sharma, after recovering from the injury, has returned to the National team. The right-handed batsman has joined the team after undergoing 14-days quarantine. He is looking good in the nets and is all set to take the field again.

Although Rohit doesn’t boast of having a good record in the overseas Tests, his addition will surely bolster the batting unit. He will be tested against the quality bowling attack of Australia. Rohit will look to score big in his comeback match.

Navdeep Saini, on the other hand, is geared up to make his Test debut tomorrow. He will be replacing injured Umesh Yadav, who has left the team now. Saini is an exciting talent, who can be effective with the red-ball.

His hit-the-deck ability can be fruitful on the Australian track. He can bowl at a good pace and deceive the batsmen with his speed. The speedster hasn’t been in great form, but, he will look to bowl well.

Mayank Agarwal Dropped From The Third Test:

Mayank Agarwal is dropped from the team after the poor outings in the first two Tests. His exclusion has left the fans to debate on. Despite being mediocre in the first two matches, he has been pretty good in the Tests.

Since his Test debut, he is the highest run-scorer (1005) for the Men in Blue. The 29-years old has a sensational batting average of 47.85 in the Tests in this duration. His omission has surely been a bit harsh on Agarwal.
