When Rohit Sharma got out to Lungi Ngidi in the 43rd over it was a big blow to India’s chances to go beyond 300. Then while everyone anticipated that MS Dhoni would come to the crease, Hardik Pandya walked out only to perish on the first ball. Hardik Pandya was out the very first ball to Lungi Ngidi. This only adds to the miserable form the all rounder has been in during this series.
India has set a target of 275 for the hosts riding on a smashing century by Rohit Sharma. No other batsman could go past 50 and India fell short of the 300 mark after being asked to bat first by Aiden Markram.
