Royal Challengers Bangalore’s Harshal Patel had another bad day at work as he was thumped for 53 runs off his 4 overs against Punjab Kings in the ongoing match at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.
Harshal Patel was being hailed as the flag-bearer of RCB’s death bowling plans. He is currently the highest wicket-taker in the tournament so far with 17 wickets under his name. However, recently, he conceded the most expensive over in the history of the Indian Premier League against Chennai Super Kings. Well, in a game against Chennai Super Kings Harshal Patel was smashed for 51 runs, including 37 in an over by Ravindra Jadeja.
Following this assault by Ravindra Jadeja, was taken to cleaners by KL Rahul and his men in the ongoing match against Punjab Kings.
In the ongoing game, Punjab Kings‘ skipper KL Rahul smashed him all around the ground once again. KL Rahul stood tall and soaked in all the pressure while wickets kept falling on the other hand. He remained unbeaten against RCB for the third time in a row. He gave a powerful performance and scored an unbeaten 91* runs as the team finished with a total of 179-5.
Meanwhile, fans on social media were disappointed after Harshal’s poor performance with the ball as he didn’t make much use of his variations. While some showed faith in the pacer, on the other hand, many started trolling him left, right and center.
